Workflows - Creating

"Worklows" are sets of questions which are created by the user. When a new job is created the answers to these questions are entered by the user and available to export to the Word templates.

 

Example:

 

IT repair company: Could have a "PC repair" and a "Server Repair" workflow. Under the PC Repair there could be questions like: Make, Model, Hard drive size, RAm size etc.

 

Garage company: Could have a "New car details" and a "Used car details". Under used car workflow there could be questions like: Make, Year registered, mileage, colour etc..

 

Each question is assigned a unique print mark. when entered into the template, the print mark will be replaced by the data entered by the user for that job.

 

Create a new workflow as follows:

 

This can be done in the Manager Panel or on the Job Edit Screen

 

Using the Manager Panel:

 

1.Log in to the manager panel
2.Select Workflow/Add workflows and Questions option

3.The Workflow screen will open

         - click the Add button and enter the name of the new workflow

         - click Save to save the workflow name

4.Save the workflow and enter the questions

         - Double click on the grid next to the workflow to begin entering questions

5.Enter the questions for each workflow

         - click the Add button to enter a new question

         - Enter the question

         - Add any guidance notes to help the user

         - Click Save to save the question

6.Save the Question and record the print mark

7.You can now add the print marks to the templates. When the jobsheet document is created, all the print marks will be replaced with their respective answers
8.You can create multiple workflows and questions to suit your business.
