Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

First please read a little back ground on how the templates are functioning in the overview section.

The RTF templates are (if you have Microsoft Word installed)

There are 2 ways to add a logo or a footer to your templates (method 2 will yield the best results)

1)Add it directly into the "RTF" document

Adding a logo or footer directly to the RTF document is fairly straight forward and described in the editing template contents

2)If you have Microsoft Word installed, then add it to the "wordmaster.dot" file

There are two main steps: 1) modify the "wordmaster.dot" file And 2) tell the BusinessFlow to use the "wordmaster.dot" file

Modifying the "wordmaster.dot" file

a.open Microsoft Word (it's important when editing a .dot file (word template) to open word first, do not just double click on the file else it will open as a document and your changes will not be saved)
b.navigate to the BusinessFlow folder

         (this depends on the product

         Jobsheet Pro                = c:\BF_Pro\Docs\wordmaster.dot

         BusinessFlow Local        = c:\Businessflow\Docs\wordmaster.dot

         BusinessFlow Online        = c:\Businessflow-Online\Docs\wordmaster.dot

c.when the file is opened you can then modify the header / footer section as required (Note) in the file you will see a "print code" called <export>, this tells BusinessFlow software where to paste the RTF file data - please ensure this remains in the file and not changed.
d.Save the modified file
