First please read a little back ground on how the templates are functioning in the overview section.
The RTF templates are (if you have Microsoft Word installed)
There are 2 ways to add a logo or a footer to your templates (method 2 will yield the best results)
| 1) | Add it directly into the "RTF" document |
Adding a logo or footer directly to the RTF document is fairly straight forward and described in the editing template contents
| 2) | If you have Microsoft Word installed, then add it to the "wordmaster.dot" file |
There are two main steps: 1) modify the "wordmaster.dot" file And 2) tell the BusinessFlow to use the "wordmaster.dot" file
Modifying the "wordmaster.dot" file
| a. | open Microsoft Word (it's important when editing a .dot file (word template) to open word first, do not just double click on the file else it will open as a document and your changes will not be saved) |
| b. | navigate to the BusinessFlow folder |
(this depends on the product
Jobsheet Pro = c:\BF_Pro\Docs\wordmaster.dot
BusinessFlow Local = c:\Businessflow\Docs\wordmaster.dot
BusinessFlow Online = c:\Businessflow-Online\Docs\wordmaster.dot

Jobsheet Pro - folder in the C;\ drive

This is the template to modify
| c. | when the file is opened you can then modify the header / footer section as required (Note) in the file you will see a "print code" called <export>, this tells BusinessFlow software where to paste the RTF file data - please ensure this remains in the file and not changed. |
| d. | Save the modified file |
Tell the BusinessFlow to use the "wordmaster.dot" file
Exact methods may vary depending on the software product being used:BusinessFlow Local and BusinessFlow Online can access the edit screen using the configuration options as well as the edit method described below:
| a. | Whilst in the Document management section |
| b. | Click on the "edit" button |
